My deviantART Story

My career has been an absolute joyride so far. I'm extremely thankful to be able to make a living by doing what I love. 
What deviantART has done for the art community is absolutely extraordinary and I don't know what I would do without it.
It has been an integral part of my growth as an illustrator. So thank you and happy birthday!

Francisco was one of the reasons why I joined DA. His work instantly caught my eye when I was young. I finally met Francisco at the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo this year. Such a nice dude. Can't thank him enough for being such a huge inspiration on my art.



 
Arnold Tsang and the UDONcrew was another huge inspiration. When UDON hit the comic scene by storm, I went bonkers for their Street Fighter comics.




Chamba is another big UDON dude that I look up to. His work just oozes style and dynamism.




I've been following Misty since my mid teens. Misty's art has been captivating deviantART fans and artists for over a decade. What an honor it is to work with her.




Mark Brooks is another artist I've been following for many years. It is quite amazing seeing his progression as an artist before he hit it big at Marvel. Still one of my favorite artists of all time! It's also pretty cool that he kept his old school DA handle.



Woof is another artist that I look up to. He taught me a lot about coloring as I was growing up. I owe him a lot for taking the time to teach.


I drew this piece as a huge thank you to the crew for taking me in as one of their own. Being a part of the crew has been nothing but a huge blessing.
